Tourist Visa Assistance

Tourist Visa is an important key to an easy and temporary access to visit a country. Depending on your possesed travel document or passport, it is best to research about whether you'll need a travel visa in accordance to the country's border rules. In most cases, it is advised to get an authorisation to travel or have an approved visa before you can depart Australia. Below are the countries that we frequently apply for Tourist Visas and individual checklists in alphabetical order.

General information for Chinese Tourist Visa:

  1. Original Passport – Note: Make sure the passport has no less than 6 MONTHS VALIDITY and has at least 2 BLANK VISA PAGES.
  2. A Copy of the Passport Photo page
  3. Passport photo
  4. Visa Application Form can be attained in Island Travel.
  5. Supporting Application Documents:
    o Flight Ticket
    o Hotel Itinerary
    o Invitation Letter (if mandatory for the purpose of travel). Invitation letter must contain:
  6.  Information of the applicant (incl. full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)
  7. Details of the planned visit (incl. arrival & departure dates, places to be visited, accommodation arrangements, etc.)
  8. Information of the inviting entity/individual (incl. name of the organisation or person concerned, contact number, address, official stamp of the organisation, signature of the legal representative or individual.
  9. Proof of Legal Stay or Residence Status (permanent residency, etc.)
  10. Return Post Envelope – stamped Australia Post Express envelope

Service options provided (in the case of all the required documents are provided)

  1. Regular service: The processing time is usually 4 working days.
  2. Express service: The processing time is usually 3 working days.
  3. Rush service: The processing time is usually 2 working days.
  4. Postal service: The processing time is usually 10 working days.

Please be noticed that: On a case-by-case basis, express and rush services may not be available, and the processing time may be longer than 4 working days.

Note: 2 COPIES OF THE APPLICATION FORM AND ALL THE OTHER DOCUMENTS NEED TO BE SUBMITTED.

  1. (2) COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM – Duly completed application form, printed, signed and dated.
  2. ITINERARY – Return tickets or Onward Journey Tickets
  3. ACCOMMODATION DETAILS – Hotel accommodation bookings need to have the applicant’s name on them. OR Invitation letter including address and contact details if staying with a friend/relative along with the host’s copy of passport.
  4. BANK STATEMENT – Recent bank statement OR certificate of balance from the bank which has applicant’s name and address on it and is duly stamped by the bank.
  5. PASSPORT – Coloured copy of the Bio-Data page. (Copy of Endorsements pages if any).
  6. VISA – Copy of Australian visa for evidence of re-entry into the country if travelling on return tickets OR copy of visa for the country if travelling on onward Journey tickets.
  7. (2) PASSPORT SIZE PHOTOS – Recent passport size photos.
  8. OTHER REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION eg, COPY OF MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE, NAME CHANGE, ETC. – Subject to circumstances.
  9. SPONSORSHIP LETTER – In case the applicant is being financially supported by any other person (for eg, spouse, parent or employer) then sponsor or bank statement, copy of his/her passport and sponsorship letter.
  10. A PREPAID “SELF-ADDRESSED REGISTERED/EXPRESS POST ENVELOPE must be included for return of passports.

PROCESSING TIME: 20 Working Days

  2. Download all forms, print and sign where applicable.
  3. Any Errors on the printed form cannot be modified by Pen/Pencil at the time of submission.
  4. Applicants are advised to ensure accuracy of the details entered in the online form.
  5. ONE recent photograph, meeting strict specifications.

  1. Current Original passport /Travel Document with a minimum validity of six months from the date of Application and must have at least two blank pages.

  3. If your occupation selected on your Visa Application form is, “Journalist”, you may only apply for a Journalist Visa, even if you intend to travel for tourism or any work or non-work-related purpose. Check Occupation on Form.

  5. All Applicants visiting the application centre for submitting their applications in person are required to schedule an appointment. (Applications sent by Post/Courier do not require scheduling an appointment)

To lodge an application for a tourist visa for the Islamic Republic of Iran, the following requirements and conditions must be observed:

  1. Applicant’s passport (with at least 6 months validity and a minimum of two blank pages.)
  2. Passport photo with white background.
  3. Those applicants who intend to travel to Iran with their travel documents must have a valid Australian visa.
  4. Reserved itinerary. we have lots of options for you. Use package menu offers to find your desire program.
  5. Travel insurance is the next step. For more information about travel insurance options
  6. Write your full name, phone number and your return address on a registered or express post envelope or a pre-paid courier bag for the return of your passport. Please ensure that you keep your tracking numbers in a safe place until you receive your passport.

Along with other necessary documents, Iran visa applicants must include proof of adequate medical travel insurance coverage from an Iranian or Foreign Insurance Agent to facilitate processing of their applications.

*Please note that a valid visa should be issued before confirming or purchasing airline tickets.

Processing of lodgement by post will take 14 working days from receipt of complete documents.

General Documents for nationals of Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Cuba, Egypt, India, Iraq, Iran, Kosovo, Laos, Lebanon, Libya, Nepal, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Palestine, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Vietnam and Yemen.

  1. Original Passport OR Travel Document OR Certificate of Identity with validity NOT less than 6 months upon arrival in Thailand
    *PLEASE organize all documents below in order into 4 DIFFERENT SETS.
  2. 4 fully completed and signed FORM B visa application. All 4 forms must be completely filled out (application form can be attained in Island Travel)
  3. 4 recent Australian Passport Size photographs, taken within last 6 months.
  4. 4 copies of airline ticket or travel itinerary confirming date of your entry and departure (if applying double entry, you must provide details of both entries)
  5. 4 copies of confirmed accommodation under your name OR an invitation letter from a reference person in Thailand that clearly state the address where he/she is staying with photocopies of his/her ID card or proof of residence in Thailand
  6. 4 verification letters (1 original & 3 copies); either employment confirmation or enrolment confirmation or a reference letter from an Australia citizen, with a copy of Australia passport, indicating details of the applicant and purpose of visit.
  7. 4 copies of passport, travel document or certificate of identity (personal detail page)
  8. 4 copies of a valid Australian Permanent or Temporary Resident visa (with your current Bridging Visa if applicable)
  9. 4 photocopies of ID Card or another acceptable ID card (student card, agency ID card, driver’s license)
  10. A pre-paid, self-addressed Express Post Platinum return envelope must be provided.

Note to all visa applications:

  1. Visa application with incomplete documentation will not be processed (both page 1 and 2).
